About the print
A beautiful reproduction of the painting "Icon I" that blurs the boundaries between being a print and an original artwork. This edition includes 150 high-quality Giclee prints which I have individually hand-gilded with 24kt gold leaf and finished the very refined details by hand with pen and ink. Each print is made on Hahnemühle German Etching paper, a beautiful heavyweight paper with an extraordinary velvety tactile feel and fine felt structure.

“Icon I” directly references Russian iconography in appearance and is talking about the origins of religious constructs and culture. It is people’s lives from a very distant past being weaved into the story that has been twisted and turned intentionally and unintentionally so many times that it is not possible anymore to imagine it is based on anything real, realistic or human. It represents how, over the centuries, something once real and straight forward turns into a distorted image overgrown with myth.

Returns
The return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately I can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Please contact me via the email in the order confirmation if you wish to make a return.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. If your item is damaged in the post, a return shipping label will be sent and upon arrival another art print will be shipped out.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Shipping
Prints are shipped in transparent protective sleeve in a sturdy cardboard envelope with Royal mail tracked and signed delivery.
Due to the individual attention and care each print demands, prints will be ready to ship 1 – 2 weeks after ordering.
